Point planning method for factory/park monitoring system
According to the six parts of perimeter, entrance and exit, roads, workshops, warehouses and key areas, the planning points of industrial park monitoring are explained.
1. Perimeter
- Physical fence: 1 infrared security camera every 40 to 60 meters, humanoid detection and filtering of small animals.
- No wall or fence perimeter: dense distribution or use of electronic fence + video review.
- Key considerations: areas close to rivers, villages, and areas with climbing objects.
- Coordinate with sound and light alarms and broadcast announcements.
2. Entrance and exit
- Truck passage: license plate recognition + barrier gate + weighbridge, equipped with fill light (special machine for license plate recognition).
- Personnel channel: Face/card swipe gate, connected to the attendance system.
- Configure 1 panoramic camera to record the overall situation of vehicles and personnel.
- Consider the separation of people and vehicles to avoid mixed traffic.
3. Park roads
- One station every 30 to 50 meters on the main road, and must be installed at intersections.
- Focus on coverage of blind spots, curves, and reversing areas.
- Must be installed at the intersection of forklift passage and pedestrian passage.
- A ball machine can be used for cruising.
4. Production workshop
- The main passages, entrances and exits are fully covered, and the workstation area is determined according to management needs.
- Hazardous chemicals area, high temperature and high pressure area: set up intrusion detection and sound and light alarm.
- Select IP66/IP67 and anti-corrosion equipment for dusty and corrosive environments.
- Optional: safety helmet/workwear identification, off-duty detection.
5. Warehouse and Logistics
- The entrance and exit of the warehouse must be set up to record the flow of materials.
- The shelf aisles are arranged at intervals of 15 to 25 meters, and attention is paid to the obstruction of high-rise shelves.
- Separately arrange high-value material areas and extend the video storage period.
- Platform/loading and unloading area: The entire process is videotaped, and cargo damage disputes can be traced.
6. Key areas
- Financial room, computer room, hazardous chemicals warehouse, power distribution room: independent storage + stricter permissions.
- Monitoring center: covering operation console and access control.
- Canteen/restaurant: can be connected to a bright kitchen and a bright stove.
Design points
- First outPoint map: Mark each point, coverage, and focal length on the floor plan.
- On-site survey and confirmation: shielding, power acquisition, network access, and pole position.
- Tiered design: which areas are 90 days and which are 30 days.
- Reserve 15% to 20% point margin to facilitate later expansion.
- Coordinate and consider linkage with access control, alarm, fire protection, and broadcasting systems.
Common Omissions
- Only cover the interior, ignoring the perimeter and roof.
- Shelves high in the warehouse form a large blind area.
- The loading dock does not have a separate forensic camera.
- Night lighting was not considered, resulting in a large number of points failing at night.
- There is no channel or power supply reserved for maintenance.
