The export of security products overseas is accelerating, and overseas markets have put forward higher requirements for certification and localization.
When domestic security companies expand overseas markets, they need to deal with product certification, electromagnetic compatibility, data compliance and localized service requirements in different regions.
Common certification requirements
- EU:CE certification (including EMC, LVD, RoHS);
- United States:FCC certification, some scenarios require UL;
- Other regions: Wireless, safety and environmental requirements must be confirmed according to local regulations.
Product level adaptation
- Power supply and plug specifications are configured according to the target market;
- Interface and manual localization (multi-language firmware and documentation);
- Privacy protection related functions (default password strength, data encryption);
- The operating temperature and protection level are adapted to the local climate.
Service capabilities
Overseas customers value response speed and spare parts supply more. It is recommended to establish localized technical support and spare parts library, and provide remote assistance channels.
