Project background
The hotel is a high-end business five-star hotel with an annual occupancy rate of more than 75%. Management is most concerned about two points: Guest privacy must not be discussed, and Construction must not affect operations.
Principle of privacy priority
- The guest room floor cameraonly covers the center line of the corridor, and the guest room door number and door body do not take close-ups.
- No cameras will be installed inside guest rooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, and SPA areas.
- Reviewing the guest room floor screen must be operated by two managers on duty, and the system will automatically leave a log.
- The splicing wall does not perform rounds of guest room floors, but only pops up when the front desk alarms.
Non-stop construction organization
All operations are scheduled to be carried out between 10:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:00 every day during guest room check-out and exchange. Clearance will resume immediately after each floor is completed; operations involving the ceiling in the lobby will be concentrated after 23:00. Zero downtime for the entire project.
Project difficulties
Issues that need to be addressed during project advancement
The hotel is open all year round, and noise and dust are prohibited during the day
During the renovation period, construction can only be done when the guest rooms are idle
High-end guests are extremely sensitive to privacy
Guest room floors are highly sensitive areas, and screen permissions must be detailed
The banquet hall has a large ceiling and insufficient coverage with conventional equipment
Both panoramic view and VIP channel evidence collection need to be considered
Multi-department (concierge/guest room/finance) permissions are intertwined
complex permission matrix design
solution
Technical and construction measures taken to address the above difficulties
The guest room floor adopts a special light distribution scheme for narrow corridors
to avoid privacy disputes caused by guest room doors entering the screen at the same time
The lobby and executive lounge adopt dome-shaped hemispheres
which fits the decoration style and reduces damage to the overall atmosphere.
The banquet hall adopts gun-ball linkage
The ball machine is responsible for the panoramic view, and the gun machine is responsible for the sign-in and checkout desk for fixed-point evidence collection.
5-level authority matrix divided according to group standards
Automatically generate audit logs for all guest room floor access

Actual operating data after the system goes online
