Project background

The government service center receives about 5,000 people daily and has 180 open windows. As work processes are compressed, Window friction has increased, while the 24-hour availability of self-service areas creates new device protection concerns.

Safety isolation design

Government sites are particularly sensitive to network security. This project adopts:

  1. The video surveillance network is an independent network and is not directly connected to the government intranet.
  2. When the brother unit needs to call the video, push the authorization token through the One-way security gate, and the camera cannot be accessed reversely.
  3. All remote access uses VPN two-factor authentication, and operations are fully audited.

Operational results

After going online, the average verification time for window service complaints was shortened from 2 working days to less than 4 hours. The number of vandalism incidents of self-service area equipment dropped from 2-3 per month to 0 incidents.

Project difficulties

Issues that need to be addressed during project advancement

The personnel in the service hall are complex and it is difficult to obtain evidence for disputes

Disputes at the window require clear audio and video evidence

Self-service area open 24 hours

Lack of staff at night, equipment may be damaged

Some windows involve the collection of non-tax income

The cash handover process must be complete and complete.

The government intranet and video network need to be safely isolated

Network security risks cannot be introduced due to the video system

solution

Technical and construction measures taken to address the above difficulties

The window adopts double-sided synchronous recording

simultaneously records the images and voices of clerks and company personnel

24-hour self-service area independent storage + intrusion detection

alarm and linkage center when opening the door during non-open hours

The cash handover area is divided into separate lanes

Videos are saved for 120 days and local deletion is prohibited

Physical isolation between the video network and the government network

Push the video on demand path in one direction through the gatekeeper to prevent reverse access
