Temperature zone operation and anti-theft monitoring system project in a cold chain logistics park
For the multi-temperature zone environment of -25℃ to 8℃, special low-temperature cameras and condensation protection designs are used to achieve operation traces, platform scheduling and safety control.

Project background
The park is responsible for regional fresh food distribution, with -25℃ frozen warehouse and 0-8℃ refrigerated warehouse coexisting, and has 120 self-owned vehicles. The original monitoring system in the low-temperature warehouse was hardly able to operate stably for a long time, and disputes over cargo damage on the platform were frequent.
Key points of low temperature environment technology
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Conventional equipment fails at low temperature | Low temperature special camera with built-in heating and temperature control module |
| Frost and ice on the lens | Electrically heated glass + anti-condensation coating |
| The temperature difference changes dramatically when the door opens | The door bucket area is arranged in two directions to balance the configuration on both sides as quickly as possible |
| Difficulty in defining cargo damage | The platform video is bound to the waybill number and supports retrieval by order |
Operational results
There has been no monitoring interruption due to equipment failure in the two years since the system went online. The average handling time for cargo damage disputes on the platform dropped by about 50%, and the number of theft incidents in high-value cargo areas was 0.
Project difficulties
Issues that need to be addressed during project advancement
Conventional electronic components in the low-temperature warehouse cannot work
Ordinary equipment will fail when started in an environment of -25℃
Frequent entry and exit can cause condensation and frost on the lens
Drastic changes in temperature can cause the lens to blur or even freeze.
The value of cold chain goods is high and the risk of theft is prominent
The platform and temporary storage area need to focus on
Fast loading and unloading, difficult to define cargo damage
Fast pace of operation, lack of video evidence
solution
Technical and construction measures taken to address the above difficulties
The low-temperature area adopts a special low-temperature camera with heated glass
built-in heating and temperature control, frost automatically melts
Two-way distribution of points in the door bucket area eliminates blind spots
The temperature difference change at the moment the platform opens is dealt with through protective design
Platform operation video is bound to the work order number
Disputes can be quickly retrieved by waybill number
Independent storage in high-value cargo area + regional intrusion alarm
Instant alarm for personnel entering during non-operation hours
Project results
Actual operating data after the system goes online
Main equipment list
This project mainly uses equipment (XLD is mainly self-developed)
- Low-temperature dedicated cameras — 168 units, suitable for -25℃ environment
- Ordinary 2 million network gun machine — 152 units, normal temperature zone and peripheral area
- Platform work order binding terminal — 18 units, leaving traces of work
- Access control and anti-intrusion linkage — 12 sets, high-value goods area
- 64-channel NVR — 5 units, dual-disk hot backup
